DESCRIPTION: BOYSEN^® Spar Varnish B-58 is a clear, alkyd-type glossy varnish that dries to a hard, durable film that does not obscure the natural appearance of wood.

PRINCIPAL USES: It is ideal for interior sealed wood such as furniture, store fixtures, cabinets, doors, and panels.

FINISH: Gloss

DRY TIME:
Touch: 4 – 6 hours
Recoat: 12 hours

THEORETICAL COVERAGE PER 4-LITERS: 25 – 30 sq.m.
*Depending on surface texture and porosity

TINTING: Do not tint.

CLEAN-UP SOLVENT: BOYSEN^® Paint Thinner B-0340

PACKAGING: 1-Liter and 4-Liters

APPLICATION: By brush or spray

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Sand surface until wood is smooth to the touch. Hammer all nails deep enough to apply wood filler. Dust off surfaces completely then wipe with a clean rag. If repainting, remove all paint by using manual or mechanical methods. If old lacquer finish is in good condition, sand surface until smooth. Make sure to clean and dry surface before coating with BOYSEN^® Spar Varnish.

PAINTING SCHEDULE:
Stain: BOYSEN^® Oil Wood Stain (optional)
Final coat: BOYSEN^® Spar Varnish B-58
Recoat again for a clear gloss finish.
